HOW CAN I SUPPORT TANDEM?
Interested in Joining Tandem’s Workplace Giving Program?
In keeping with Tandem’s ongoing search for additional forms of fundraising to add value to the services it offers and address unmet needs, Tandem is offering a Workplace Giving program to employees and families which can also be used by employees of other businesses to regularly donate to Tandem.
Workplace Giving is an Australian Government initiative established to assist community organisations to raise additional funding, other than government funding already received. The Workplace Giving program provides an opportunity for donors to elect to contribute regular donations through deductions via their payroll system and receive an immediate tax benefit for doing so.
For example, a $5.00 a week donation, means a reduction in take home pay of $3.50 and an annual contribution to Tandem of $260.00

Other Opportunities
Support through sponsorships, partnerships, donations, bequests and volunteering is vital to Tandem's ongoing ability to develop and improve services we provide in supporting our individual clients and families.
Corporate sponsorship allows Tandem to provide services that fall outside of the criteria set by our funding bodies. For example, Tandem's Recreational Activities Program (sponsored by The Lions Club of Canberra - Ginninderra Branch) and the Client Holiday Scheme (sponsored by Bendigo Bank Calwell and Wanniassa Branches) allows our clients to participate in activities and holidays they would not otherwise have the opportunity to do.
Some suggestions on how Tandem could be supported include:
- providing financial support for a new or existing program;
- providing free services or products to support a new or existing program; or
- volunteering your time.

How do I make a donation?
You can make a donation to Tandem in the following ways:
- Cheques (made payable to Tandem Respite Inc.) - posted to PO Box 3301 WESTON CREEK ACT 2611.
