ABOUT THE LIVING SKILLS PROGRAM
The Living Skills Program focusses specifically on supporting adults with disabilities to enhance their level of independence through the development of new skills. Support is usually provided for a period of 6 to 12 months with an aim for clients to increase their skills during this time and eventually withdraw from service.
Support is flexible and can be designed to address a specific goal or task, or focus on general living skills.
Eligibility
People with a moderate disability or long-term illness who are over 18 years of age who have the capacity to increase their functional abilities, living in their own home and living in the ACT.
